Alessandro Inserra has served as the Director of Pediatric General and Thoracic Surgery at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital since 2005. He also served as a professor at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore for five years. Dr. Inserra earned his MD from Sapienza University of Rome in 1978. He has led several national research projects as Chief Investigator.
Dr. Inserra has authored and co-authored 186 publications and contributed to 28 book chapters. He has also participated in approximately 148 national and international conferences.

Yan Wang is the Director of the Pediatrics Department at Shanghai Hong Ci Children’s Hospital. She also serves as a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the same institution.
Dr. Wang obtained her PhD in Pediatric Respiratory and Emergency Medicine from Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University in 1998.
She is a member of the editorial boards of ECronicon Open Access Journal of Cardiology, Austin Critical Care Journal, and Journal of Pediatrics and Neonatal Care. Dr. Wang has published several articles in international journals and has actively participated in numerous international conferences.

Paulo H. Manso is the Head of the Pediatric Cardiology Unit in the Department of Pediatrics at Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo, where he leads a team of pediatric cardiologists, residents, and postgraduate students.
He serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology, with a strong research interest in outcomes of congenital heart disease, congenital heart disease in adults, genetic mechanisms of congenital heart disease, and perioperative management.
Dr. Manso is currently pursuing a research fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Paramahamsa Maturu is a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Neonatology, at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital.
Dr. Maturu’s research interests focus on the role of inflammation and the inflammatory microenvironment in the initiation and progression of tumors. He completed his postdoctoral training at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and in the Department of Tumor Immunology at James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
Dr. Maturu currently serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several highly ranked journals, including PLOS ONE, Scientific Reports, Current Medicinal Chemistry, Cardiovascular Diabetology, Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces, Alcohol and Alcoholism, Food and Chemical Toxicology, Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry, and Human & Experimental Toxicology, among others.
He has published numerous papers in highly reputed peer-reviewed journals and has received several awards for his contributions to research. Dr. Maturu is also a senior member of the Inflammation Research Association, American Society of Preventive Oncology, and American Society of Nephrology.
