Author Guidelines – ESTEM Inc.

1. General Information

ESTEM Inc. publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarly articles under a full open-access model. All manuscripts must present original research or scholarly work that has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere.

Authors are advised to carefully read these guidelines before submitting their manuscript.

2. Scope of Journals

ESTEM Inc. publishes journals covering a broad range of disciplines, including but not limited to:

  • Science and Life Sciences

  • Technology and Engineering

  • Medicine and Health Sciences

  • Environmental and Earth Sciences

  • Interdisciplinary and Applied Research

Authors should ensure their manuscript aligns with the aims and scope of the selected journal.

3. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

ESTEM Inc. journals may accept the following article types:

  • Original Research Articles

  • Review Articles

  • Short Communications

  • Case Reports / Case Studies (where applicable)

  • Methodology Papers

  • Perspectives and Commentaries

Specific article categories may vary by journal.

4. Manuscript Preparation

a. Language

Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English (either British or American English, used consistently).

b. Structure

A typical research manuscript should include:

  • Title page

  • Abstract

  • Keywords

  • Introduction

  • Materials and Methods

  • Results

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgements (if applicable)

  • Conflict of Interest statement

  • Funding statement

  • References

5. Formatting Requirements

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12-point

  • Line spacing: Double-spaced

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

  • Pages should be numbered consecutively

Figures and tables should be numbered sequentially and cited in the text.

6. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract length: 150–300 words (depending on journal)

  • Keywords: 4–6 relevant terms

  • Abstract should summarize objectives, methods, results, and conclusions

7. Figures and Tables

  • Figures must be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi)

  • Tables should be editable and not embedded as images

  • Each figure and table must have a clear title and legend

8. References and Citations

  • References must be complete and accurate

  • Citation style (e.g., APA, Vancouver, Harvard) is journal-specific

  • All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list

Authors should ensure plagiarism-free and properly cited content.

9. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must:

  • Ensure originality of the work

  • Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and data falsification

  • Obtain ethical approval for studies involving humans or animals, where applicable

  • Declare all conflicts of interest

  • Acknowledge all funding sources

ESTEM Inc. follows international publishing ethics guidelines consistent with Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

10. Authorship Criteria

All listed authors must:

  • Have made a significant contribution to the work

  • Approve the final manuscript

  • Agree to its submission and publication

Changes in authorship after submission require written consent from all authors.

11. Submission Process

  • Manuscripts are submitted through the journal’s online submission system or official email

  • Authors will receive an acknowledgment upon successful submission

  • All correspondence is conducted with the corresponding author

12. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo rigorous peer review

  • Peer review may be single-blind, double-blind, or open, depending on journal policy

  • Editorial decisions are based solely on scientific merit and relevance

13. Article Processing Charges (APCs)

  • APCs are applied only after acceptance

  • APC details are published transparently on each journal’s website

  • Payment does not influence editorial decisions

14. Copyright and Open Access

  • Authors retain copyright

  • Articles are published under a Creative Commons license

  • Published articles are freely accessible without embargo

15. Post-Publication Corrections

ESTEM Inc. allows:

  • Corrections

  • Errata

  • Retractions (where necessary)

Post-publication actions follow established ethical standards.
