Biography:
Dr. El-Deeb received his PhD in Veterinary Internal Medicine from Mansoura University, Egypt, during the period 2002–2005.
He is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine, Clinical and Laboratory Diagnosis in the Department of Clinical Studies, College of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Resources, King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. He is also affiliated with the Department of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt.
He serves as an editorial board member of several reputed journals (11 international journals) and as a reviewer for more than 20 journals. He has authored or co-authored over 50 research articles and books and has participated in more than 11 research projects.
His research interests include the use of acute phase proteins as advanced tools for the diagnosis and prognosis of various diseases; cardiopulmonary biomarkers and their utility in disease diagnosis and prognosis; and oxidative stress biomarkers in different diseases and their role in disease outcomes.
