Biography
Prof. Winnie Chee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and obtained her Master’s and Ph.D. in Nutrition Science from the National University of Malaysia. With this strong foundation in both dietetics and nutrition science, her research interests cover bone health nutrition, type 2 diabetes mellitus, obesity, and renal nutrition.
She has published extensively on calcium and vitamin D intake, as well as dietary interventions to improve bone density in both children and adults. Her recent work in diabetes includes a review of the current status of diabetes in Malaysia and studies on the use of meal replacements to support weight loss and improve diabetes control in primary care settings.
Anka Vujanovic, PhD

Biography
Dr. Anka Vujanovic is a Professor and Director of Clinical Training in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Texas A&M University, and a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Texas A&M School of Medicine. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and serves as Director of the Trauma and Stress Studies Center and the First Responder Consortium. She also holds a faculty appointment as Research Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Houston.
Dr. Vujanovic earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Vermont and completed her predoctoral clinical psychology internship at the Brown University Clinical Psychology Training Consortium.
Her research program focuses on understanding the complexity of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and its most prevalent and high-risk correlates, including substance use disorders (SUD) and suicide risk, through the study of underlying psychological mechanisms relevant to treatment development. Her work encompasses three interrelated areas: (1) investigation of psychological and behavioral processes underlying the etiology and maintenance of PTSD symptoms and PTSD/SUD; (2) examination of suicide risk among trauma-exposed populations; and (3) development of theoretically and empirically driven interventions for PTSD and co-occurring conditions that target identified psychological mechanisms.
She employs a range of methodological approaches, including clinical trials, longitudinal studies, ecological momentary assessment, and experimental laboratory paradigms. Her research has been conducted across diverse settings, including academic clinical research centers, first responder departments, medical and mental health clinics, and acute-care psychiatric inpatient hospitals. Her work spans populations exposed to various forms of trauma, including survivors of sexual trauma, military veterans, first responders, and survivors of human trafficking.
Dr. Vujanovic has received research funding from the National Institutes of Health and private foundations. She serves as an Associate Editor for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Contemporary Clinical Trials, European Journal of Psychotraumatology, Journal of Contextual Behavioral Science, Journal of Psychology and AI, and Mindfulness, and is on the editorial boards of six additional journals. She has authored over 250 publications, including journal articles, books, and book chapters.
Jiun-Hau Huang, SM, ScD

Biography
Dr. Huang is an Associate Professor in the Institute of Health Behaviors and Community Sciences within the College of Public Health (accredited by CEPH) at National Taiwan University. Trained as a behavioral scientist, he received both his master’s and doctoral degrees in Health and Social Behavior from the Harvard School of Public Health.
As the principal investigator (PI) of multiple research grants funded by Taiwan’s Ministry of Science and Technology (formerly the National Science Council), his research has primarily focused on health risk behaviors among young populations and the development of health behavior interventions. His recent studies and publications have addressed sexual health issues among young men who have sex with men (MSM) in Taiwan. In addition, one of his recent randomized controlled trials (RCTs) examined physicians’ intentions to provide exercise counseling to patients.
During his doctoral training at Harvard and postdoctoral training at McGill University, his research focused on health risk behaviors—including sexual risk-taking, heavy episodic drinking, and gambling—among college students and NCAA student-athletes, respectively. These topics continue to be central to his research and publications.
Dr. Huang also teaches courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including health communication, health promotion, health education, and theories and practices of health behavior change.
Cara Ebbeling, PhD, MS

Biography
Cara B. Ebbeling, PhD, MS, is a clinical researcher at Boston Children’s Hospital with over three decades of experience in the fields of nutrition, kinesiology, and behavior change counseling. She is Co-Director of the New Balance Foundation Obesity Prevention Center and holds the rank of Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Ebbeling is internationally recognized for her expertise in conducting randomized controlled trials of novel dietary interventions and has published extensively in high-profile journals, including JAMA and the New England Journal of Medicine. She is currently developing, implementing, and evaluating a novel integrated care model for the treatment of childhood obesity.
She has delivered numerous invited presentations at national and international professional meetings and has testified at the Massachusetts State House on nutrition-related topics. She previously served as an Associate Editor for the journal Obesity and as a Guest Editor for a special issue of Clinical Chemistry.
Dr. Ebbeling is a Fellow of The Obesity Society and the American College of Sports Medicine.
JoAnn E. Manson, MD, DrPH, MACP

Biography
JoAnn E. Manson, MD, MPH, DrPH, MACP, is a Professor of Medicine and the Michael and Lee Bell Professor of Women’s Health at Harvard Medical School. She is also a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Chief of the Division of Preventive Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH).
Dr. Manson is a physician–epidemiologist and endocrinologist, and serves as Principal Investigator (PI) or co-PI of several major research studies, including the Boston Clinical Center of the Women’s Health Initiative, the cardiovascular component of the Nurses’ Health Study, the VITamin D and OmegA-3 TriaL (VITAL), the COSMOS trial, and the VItamin D for COVID-19 (VIVID) trial.
Her primary research interests include randomized clinical trials evaluating the benefit–risk profile of menopausal hormone therapy; the role of nutritional and lifestyle factors in heart disease, diabetes, cognitive decline, and cancer; life course–related risk factors for cardiovascular disease (CVD) in women; and biomarker predictors of CVD and healthy longevity.
Dr. Manson has received numerous honors, including the American Heart Association’s Population Research Prize, Distinguished Scientist Award, and Research Achievement Award; election to the National Academy of Medicine (formerly the Institute of Medicine); membership in the Association of American Physicians; fellowship in the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS); the Bernadine Healy Award for Visionary Leadership in Women’s Health; the Alma Dea Morani Renaissance Woman Award; the Outstanding Clinical Investigator Award from the Endocrine Society; the James D. Bruce Memorial Award from the American College of Physicians (ACP); and election to Mastership in ACP.
She has published more than 1,200 peer-reviewed articles, authored or edited several books and textbooks, and previously served as Editor-in-Chief of Contemporary Clinical Trials. She is also a past president of The Menopause Society. Dr. Manson is among the most highly cited researchers in the world and was featured in the National Library of Medicine’s exhibition, History of American Women Physicians.
