She was elected as a member of the Ministerial Committee for the development of a consensus document on gender-based medicine (2019) and as a consultant member of the Italian National Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità) working group on Gender Medicine and Pharmacology (2021).
She has received the National Scientific Qualification for Associate Professor in Cardiovascular and Respiratory Diseases.

Born in Naples, Italy, on October 2, 1971.
He obtained his Degree in Medicine in 1996 and completed his postgraduate specialization in Internal Medicine in 2002 at the University of Siena, Italy. He earned his PhD in Clinical Pharmacology in 2007 from the University of Siena.
Since 2005, he has been working as a Medical Doctor in the Department of Medicine, Surgery, and Neurosciences at the University of Siena. He is also involved in teaching across various degree programs within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Siena.
His clinical activity is carried out at the University Hospital of Siena, particularly in the Stroke Unit.
His main research interests include immunological and inflammatory mechanisms of cardiac arrhythmias (particularly long QT syndrome) and sudden cardiac death; cardiovascular involvement in systemic autoimmune diseases; cardiovascular risk factors and stroke treatment; homocysteine metabolism; and the role of the purinergic system in inflammation and fibrogenesis.
He serves as a member of the Editorial Board for several international peer-reviewed journals, including Stroke, BMC Neurology, Cardiovascular & Hematological Disorders – Drug Targets, International Journal of Neurology Research, Annals of Atherosclerosis, Mayfeb Journal of Medicine, and Journal of Heart and Stroke.

Dr. Sadeer Al-Kindi is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Radiology and Co-Director of the Center for Integrated and Novel Approaches in Vascular-Metabolic Disease (CINEMA). He also serves as Director of the Cardiovascular Phenomics Core at University Hospitals.
Dr. Al-Kindi is a clinician-investigator with a focus on non-traditional risk factors for cardiovascular disease, including environmental, socioeconomic, and immunohematologic factors.
He received the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Young Investigator Award in 2020. He has published over 120 peer-reviewed articles in leading journals, including Circulation and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and has been invited to present his work at national conferences.

Dr. Hugo Chinchilla is an interventional cardiologist who completed his medical training in General Medicine at the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH). He further specialized in cardiology at Hospital Puerta de Hierro in Madrid and in interventional cardiology at Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón in Madrid, Spain.
He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Honduran Society of Cardiology, the Spanish Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, and the American Society of Interventional Cardiology. He is a former President of the Honduran Society of Cardiology and the Founder and President of the Society of Endothelium.
Dr. Chinchilla is an internationally recognized lecturer and has delivered presentations in Cuba, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Panama, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Spain, and Sweden.
He serves as a Board Member of the Pan American Association of Endothelium and is a member of the Working Group on Ischemic Heart Disease of the Valencian Society of Cardiology. He is also a faculty member of SOLACI (Latin American Society of Interventional Cardiology) and Foro ICI (Forum of Interventional Cardiologists).
He has worked as a consultant in endovascular devices for Hexacath (Paris, France) and has been invited to perform advanced procedures, including pacemaker implantation (single-chamber, dual-chamber, and defibrillators) in Guadalajara, Mexico. He has also been invited to perform live interventional cardiology procedures in Toledo, Spain.
Dr. Chinchilla is the founder of the first coronary angiography service in Honduras. He was among the first to perform renal denervation in the country and is one of the few cardiologists experienced in lower limb angioplasty and cardiac resynchronization therapy with implantable defibrillators.
He currently serves as Chief of the Cardiology Service at the Military Hospital in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Dr. Deng is currently an Associate Senior Physician in Cardiovascular Surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, Heilongjiang, China. She received her medical doctorate (MD) from Harbin Medical University.
Since 2006, she has been working at the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, where she is dedicated to cardiovascular surgery, serving as a perfusionist and ECMO physician during surgical procedures and in the intensive care unit within the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery.
Dr. Deng’s research focuses on mechanical circulatory support, including extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and cardiopulmonary bypass, as well as organ protection and computational fluid mechanics in the context of cardiovascular surgery.
She has published over 20 scientific papers and has translated more than two book chapters.
